Monarch Watch with the Upper Valley Land Trust

Peak monarch migration (September 3-15) is just around the corner!  Join the Upper Valley Land Trust on Sunday, September 13 for a fun and informative monarch tagging event at the Ely Mountain Conservation Area in Thetford, VT. During this event we will teach participants how to collect and tag monarch butterflies as part of the national Monarch Watch Tagging Program. After safely collecting and observing butterflies, adults will be given an opportunity to practice tagging butterflies.  This event is suitable for all ages. Tags and nets will be provided.
